About Elaine

Elaine Fekete was raised on a family farm and is a proud Hokie. A Sandbridge leader, wife, and mother, Elaine knows Virginia Beach and has the skills to protect and defend the residents of District 2.

As a successful business owner, Elaine understands what it takes to manage budgets responsibly, solve problems, make difficult decisions, and deliver results. She will make sure your tax dollars are spent wisely, conservatively, and transparently.

Elaine didn’t just discover local issues this year. She has been fighting for residents and working to improve our community for years. Her civic involvement includes serving as President of the Sandbridge Beach Civic League, supporting the Volunteer Rescue Squad Boosters, and volunteering in Virginia Beach Public Schools.

Elaine is a persuasive advocate who can build consensus and win over fellow Councilmembers to protect our quality of life. She will support our police, first responders, and teachers while keeping education funding focused on learning, not politics.
